The American Deluxe Telecaster takes the classic Tele template and adds some more modern appointments such as Fender's Noiseless pickups, which deliver the iconic Telecaster twang without the hum, the S-1 switching system which adds some additional tonal variation by enabling the middle position (both pick-ups) to be either wired in parallel or series, a 22 fret compound radius neck and some contouring on the back of the body (like on the original 70's Tele Deluxe) to give a more comfortable playing experience.
This particular example dates to 2004 (the first year of manufacture for this model) and is in excellent overall condition with just a few light surface scratches on the back of the guitar being the only thing that prevents it from being described as mint.
The neck has a modern C profile and a compound radius making it a very comfortable neck to play. It also has an additional 22nd fret and is topped off with abalone inlays which give it a classy look. Sonically the N3 Noiseless single coils pick-ups are firmly in classic Tele territory but without any hum. Maybe it's the lack of hum that make them sound a little bit more crystal clear when played clean than vintage style Tele pick-ups? Add a bit of overdrive and they can rock like the best Teles. This is a versatile guitar that delivers well in most styles.
If you're looking for an affordable US made modern Tele that will cover most tonal bases and has a modern playing feel, then look no further.
Comes with a Gator hardshell case.
