The Lush Closet Classic treatment is nicely done, with fine lacquer checking and lightly tarnished hardware. There are a small number of minor nicks (see pictures), but otherwise it's as it left the Fender Custom Shop.

It has a Twisted Tele pick-up in the neck and a 51 Nocaster pick up in the bridge, which deliver the classic Tele bite in the bridge and a nice woody soulful tone on the neck. The wiring is the standard modern Tele wiring.

The neck profile is the regular chunky '52 profile with a modern 9.5 in radius for easy string bending on a low action.

All in all a great no nonsense Tele. If you’ve been looking for a good Custom Shop ’52 Telecaster reissue but would like something a little different to the usual Butterscotch Blonde Blackguards, then this Surf Green example is a cool contender, which will look great onstage as well as delivering bags of classic Tele tone in the studio.

Comes with the original Fender Custom Shop G&G tweed case, Certificate of Authenticity, shop floor traveller, strap and hang tags.
